National Super League (NSL) side Isibania FC head Coach Dan Mutsa has appealed for football enthusiasts in to come to the aid of the broke club, admitting it has proved difficult to continue away honoring league fixtures.

The Kisii based team currently at 15th on the 19-team log with 13 points, failed to honor their last weekend fixture against Kibera Black Stars as the management could not raise funds for the travel to Nairobi.

Mutsa is therefore worried their existence in the league is in danger if a quick solution is not found.

“We are preparing well for the matches but it has been very difficult for us to travel to honor the fixtures. We are aware if a team fails to play three consecutive matches then it is relegated . I can see we are heading there,’’ bemoaned Mutsa.

Mutsa is desperately requesting for financial aid, to save the fortunes of the club playing their second season in the NSL.

“As we continue to look for permanent suitors I request well wishers to come on board to support us through pay bill number 761818. My players are in good shape to play despite all this challenges,” Mutsa appealed.

The financial stricken side has won three matches, drawn four times and lost eight times with now only eight points above GFE 105 who sit 18th on the log.

Their next assignment will be against 14th placed St. Joseph on Sunday at the Awendo Green Stadium, a tie they are uncertain to honor.

Isibania FC was promoted to the second tier in 2017 season after beating Lubinu Rangers 4-0 in FKF Division 1 zone B.
