Bottom-placed Zoo Kericho continued with their poor run in the Kenyan Premier League after falling 0-2 to visiting Wazito FC at the Kericho Green Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Two first-half goals from striker Pistone Mutamba ensured the visitors collected maximum points during the proceedings that was characterized by heavy downpour.

Mutamba headed home the first goal before converting from the spot kick after his team-mate was brought down in the box.

Zoo’s Nicholas Kipkirui, Kepha Ondati and Isaac Kipyegon squandered several scoring chances in both halfs, hitting the woodworks a number of times, when they should have done better.

The defeat did not go down well with Zoo’s fans who demanded that they improve their performance.

Zoo has only won one match, drawn one and lost a staggering six since the season began.
