Juventus leading Foxes star Kante’s chase

Currently one of the Premier League’s star players, Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante is on the radar of Italian giants Juventus.

The Old Lady are looking specifically at Kante in light of the long-term injury recently picked up by Claudio Marchisio, as well as preparing for the potential departure of Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman is highly admired by the Bianconeri hierarchy and according to the Daily Mirror, the Turin club are the favourites to land his signature this summer.

Despite this, Chelsea, Real Madrid Paris Saint-Germain are also in contention to purchase the 25-year-old, with a figure of €25 million thought to be enough to satisfy the Foxes.

Kante has been a mainstay in the Leicester City side that has beaten all the odds to sit at the summit of the Premier League with three games to go, and his work was recognised in his nomination for the PFA Player of the Year award and call up to the French national side.

Meanwhile, Leicester supporters will hope that there is no exodus of their star players this summer, as Europe’s elite circle around their talented squad.
