Kagere completes Simba move, pens two-year deal

Ugandan born Rwandan forward Meddie Kagere has completed the much hyped move to Tanzanian side Simba SC, penning a two-year deal.

According to reports in Tanzania, Kagere, 31, inked a two-year deal worth Ksh 8M  in sign-on -fee and a staggering Ksh 450,000 monthly salary, more than double what he earned at Gor Mahia.

As reported by Citizen Digital, Kagere has been under the radar of the Tanzanian side after his impeccable display in the recently held Super Cup competition where K’Ogalo beat Simba 2-0 in the final to retain the Cup, with Kagere and compatriot Jacques Tuyisenge bagging the goals.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Gor is looking to bring on board Ugandan and Viper SC forward Erisa Ssekisambu to its ranks.

The attacking midfielder has been an integral pillar for Vipers and would be a valuable addition to the squad.
