Kagere deal almost through- manager

The manager of want-away Gor Mahia forward Meddie Kagere has said that a deal is imminent between his client and Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

Kagere is in the Tanzanian capital to seal a deal with Simba with expectations soaring high among the club’s fans that the signing of the Rwandan marksman could be made official by close of business Tuesday.

In an interview, Patrick Gakumba, Kagere’s manager said: “Up to now we have held talks, I believe the deal is almost through, what we are waiting for is the announcement from the club leadership, and I believe they really want him because they called us here and we have held talks which were successful, now we are waiting for the final word which we believe will be positive. ”

As reported by Citizen Digital, Kagere has been under the radar of the Tanzanian side after his impeccable display in the recently held Super Cup competition where K’Ogalo beat Simba 2-0 in the final to retain the Cup, with Kagere and compatriot Jacques Tuyisenge bagging the goals.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Gor is looking to bring on board Ugandan and Viper SC forward Erisa Ssekisambu to its ranks.

The attacking midfielder has been an integral pillar for Vipers and would be a valuable addition to the squad.
