Kayole Asubuhi put Super 8 PL title on the line

Kayole Asubuhi will put their Super 8 Premier League title on the line when the 2017 edition of the estate football tournament kicks-off on March 4.

Under the tutelage of former Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia ace Isaiah ‘Song’ Omondi, Kayole won the title with 64 points on the final day of the competition.

Jericho All Stars came in second two adrift ahead of Super 8 Champions League winners TUK (60) who finished third.

TUK and Jericho All stars met again at the East vs West Champions League competition where the former carried the day for the second time in a row.

NYSA FC who won the Division One league crown to earn automatic promotion to the top flight will be joined by Umeme from the West as well as McMillan and Zamalek from the East as they seek to make an impact in the Super 8 Premier League.

Several star players from last season among them Super 8 Premier League top scorer Jakonia Uyoga who earned a move to record 15-time national champions Gor Mahia made a move to the Kenyan Premier League.

Super 8 Head of Coordination and Operations, Athanas Obala urged teams at the club’s meeting to focus on marketing themselves and maintain high discipline to replicate the success of last season.

Expectations are high among the players, technical bench and football enthusiasts ahead of the second edition of the Super 8 Premier and Division One leagues.
