KCB Eldoret Rally zooms off under wet and slippery conditions

The eighth round of the KCB Kenya National Rally Championship zoomed off in Eldoret today with wet and muddy conditions.

A total of 17 cars revved off at KCB Kenyatta Street branch.

The cars were flagged off by Uasin Gishu County Deputy Governor Daniel Kiprotich Chemno and Paul Russo the KCB Group Regional Business Director and Managing Director of National Bank of Kenya, KMSF Chairman, Phineas Kimathi alongside several other dignitaries from the County.

Speaking at the flag off, KCB Group Regional Business Director and Managing Director of National Bank of Kenya, Paul Russo said: “KCB Group is excited to be part of this thrilling motor sporting activity, it rained the entire night so this promises both a challenging opportunity to the drivers but an electrifying experience for the supporters. All the Best to the drivers.”

Drivers have had to contend with wet conditions after it rained all night.

The competitors will tackle 6 competitive sections: Kaptagat twice, Burgar twice Salabin twice (where the spectator stage is) ending at KCB Iten.

Chager was the fastest through opening stage at Kaptagat followed by Flash Tundo.
