Kenya Cup playoffs; Kabras to face Leos

Defending Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC have been paired against Menengai Oilers in the Kenya Cup playoff matches set for this weekend.

KCB RFC who finished second in the regular league losing just one game, at the hands of Kabras, will be aiming to go past the Oilers at the KCB Sports Club.

Kabras, on the other hand, who topped the standings, will face Strathmore Leos at the Nandi Bears Club in Nandi County. Leos finished fourth in the regular season.

Leos had on Monday cried foul, claiming that the Kenya Rugby Union were out to lock them out of the semis slot despite their qualification.

The finals will be played the first weekend of September.
