Kenya defeat Nepal by five wickets in ICC league match

Captain Rakep Patel’s unbeaten 34 helped Kenya secure a five wicket victory over Nepal in their ICC World Cricket League clash on Saturday.

In a rain affected match, Kenya gave a successful run chase after restricting Nepal to 112 runs for eight wickets in 36 overs.

In reply, Patel had able assistance from veteran Collins Obuya who added 24 with Gurudeep Singh also not out for 12 for the loss of five wickets.

The result saw Kenya jump above their beaten opponents in the standings with Gyanendra Malla emerging the star of Nepal’s innings with 27.
