Kenya Simbas off to Zambia for Victoria Cup

Kenya Rugby 15s side will head to Zambia today ahead of the Victoria Cup 2019 opener match against the host on Saturday,  Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed.

Barely a fortnight after winning the Elgon Cup 2019 in Uganda, Paul Odera charges shift focus to the Victoria Cup where they will play away matches against Zambia and Zimbabwe on the 27th July and 3rd August respectively.

Kenya will play their first match against Zambia on Saturday kicking off at 2:30pm local time.

The technical bench has retained the winning squad that was in Kampala which will be led by experienced KCB skipper Jacob Ojee who was the man-of-the-match scoring 11 points out of the 16 scored in that match in Kampala and Andrew Amonde.

They will then head to Zimbabwe for their clash against the defending Champions on 3rd August before jetting back home and continue preparations for the return legs scheduled for 24th August against Zambia and 21st September against Zimbabwe.
