The head coach was happy with the preparations put in place by the Hockey Union, noting that the team has been supplied with every single item they required .

“We have been working on drills and we learnt a lot from South Africa during the Youth Africa Games in which they won gold,” said vice-captain Ivan Ludiali enthused.

Ivan added that the team is well prepared for the games, adding that they have done a lot of ball work.

Kenya are in Pool B and will face off with 2014 Youth Olympic gold medalists Australia and silver medalists Canada, Austria, Bangladesh and India.

The team is set to travel  to fly out tomorrow 1pm.
