Kenyan teams resume CAVB action in Cairo

Kenyan teams will return to the Al Ahly Club Hall court on Tuesday afternoon as the CAVB African Women Club Championship enters Day Four in Cairo, Egypt.

After taking a rest on Monday, six-time winners Kenya Pipeline will be up against Shooting of Egypt in their second match of Pool C from 3pm, with a win enough to send them through to the quarter finals.

Subsequently, Kenya Prisons after winning their second successive match last night against Nkumba University of Uganda to top pool ‘D’ on 6 points, they will face tricky GSP of Algeria at 4PM. The latter are on second with five points in the only five sided pool.

The other Kenyan team KCB, will confront Sporting of Egypt from 5pm in their second preliminary tie in Pool B. The bankers won their first game in straight sets against DGSP of Congo on Saturday.
