Leopards boss Kimani tips hat for rivals KCB

AFC Leopards head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani says KCB FC’s perfect start is testament of their quality as he predicted a tight title challenge this season.

KCB sit comfortably at the top of the FKF Premier League standings having won all five of their opening fixtures and Kimani believes their form should be a warning signal for their rivals.

“It’s a good team which has registered good results and I think it is something positive which injects stiff competition to our league. This will definitely provoke other teams to step up,” Kimani said.

KCB hold a three-point advantage over second-placed Kariobangi Sharks and could stretch that gap further if they win their game in hand.

Kimani’s Leopards have made a solid start and sit fourth ahead of Saturday’s clash against Wazito FC.

KCB, who face-off with Bidco United over the weekend, are penciled to lock horns with Leopards on January 24.
