AFC Leopards are keen to make a quick bounce back from the shock 2-0 loss suffered in the hands of Western Stima last Friday.

Head coach Antony Modo Kimani says despite the recent setback, his boys are confident of getting good results in the fixture pile-up over the festive season.

“Yes we are through with training as far as today(Monday) is concerned…we have not been told exactly who should be our next opponent and so we are awaiting for confirmation, I think before the end of the day today,” Kimani said.

The defeat toppled Ingwe from top of log to position three with nine points, three behind KCB who have maintained a 100percent record since the term began. Robert Matano’s Tusker FC are second on 10 points.

“The defeat was not a good result (against Western Stima) but we now put our eyes on our next clash and the boys are very much prepared for that matter,” the former Harambee Stars defender added.

His sentiments have been echoed by Leopards Football Operations Manager Tom Juma who says the team is in good shape ahead of their next match.

“As far are the team is concerned we have no injuries and the boys are doing well in terms of preparations,” said Leopards legend Juma.
