Leopards rain the goals past Rainforest

FKF-Shield defending champions AFC Leopards progressed to the round of 16 after thrashing little known Rainforest FC 4-0 on Sunday at the Karuturi Grounds.

An Ezekiel Odera brace and further strikes from Jaffery Odenyi and Ray Omondi helped Leopards secure the emphatic win.

Odenyi’s goal was sandwiched by Odera’s double to give Ingwe a commendable 3-0 lead at the break. Second half substitute Omondi made his presence count with a second half strike.

Earlier at the same venue, Vihiga United sailed to the round of 16 at the expense of Division 1 side Vegpro with a 4-0 win. A brace from Dennis Wafula and a goal each from Vincent Wonder and Dennis Ombeva sealed the qualification for the Premier League team.
