Goalkeeper Njau Samuel produced superb strings of saves to deny Ingwe thwarting goal attempts from among others Leopards attacking midfielder Whyvonne Isuza.

In the second half, Leopards head coach Casa Mbungo made some changes bringing in Wayi Yeka Tatuwe and Saad Tsuma to replace Jaffery Owiti and David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng to inject some pace but his tactical changes did not bear fruits.

Leopards custodian Ezekiel Owade also stood tall between the goalposts moreso in the second half keeping the big cats in the game when the home side came charging.

Mbungo rued missed chances. “We thank God for this one point we’ve got, we wanted all the points but it is the number of lost chances that has denied us a win,”he said, expressing his satisfaction for the point earned.

His counterpart Patrick Odhiambo said: “One point is good although we wanted maximum points. We need to rectify our attack before the next game.”
