Manchester United recall Adnan Januzaj from Borussia Dortmund

Manchester United have recalled Adnan Januzaj from his season-long loan spell at German side Borussia Dortmund.

The Red Devils have requested the 20-year-old Belgium international forward to return to Old Trafford because of lack of game at Dortmund.

Januzaj has only made 12 appearances for the Bundesliga club, which has included only three starts, beating the purpose of the loan which was aimed at giving him more game time.

His six league outings have all been as a substitute and he has not featured since a Europa League defeat by PAOK Salonika on December 10.

The Belgian played four times for United in August, scoring the winner at Aston Villa. His contract at Old Trafford runs until 2018.
