Mign breaks the tradition, calls 21 to Stars camp for one-day assessment

Newly appointed Harambee Stars coach Sébastien Migné has called up 21 local-based players for a one-day training camp ahead of upcoming international friendly matches.

The camp, aimed at assessing the players beforehand, will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.

Notable inclusions in the team are AFC Leopards duo of Yussuf Mainge and Marvin Onyango, who turn out for the national U-20 team, the Rising Stars.

Also included in the team is Mathare United’s Johnstone Omurwa and David Owino, who have in the recent past made an appearance in the national U-23 team, the Emerging Stars.

Musa Mohamed and Eric Ouma, who have previously made appearances for the senior national team and are currently unattached, have also been called up.

Coach Migné, alongside his assistant Nicolas Bourriquet, will hold two training sessions on the day, between 8 am and 11 am and later on at 4 pm to 6 pm.
