More Gor woe as Nandwa inspires Ulinzi

Ulinzi Stars FC inflicted Gor Mahia FC only their third Kenyan Premier League (KPL) loss of the season with Elvis Nandwa scoring both goals during the 2-0 win at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The result spelled Gor’s fourth straight defeat across all competitions, putting their recent troubles into closer focus after its playing unit went into strike over pay.

Ulinzi will however head into Sunday’s FKF Shield semi-final against Kariobangi Sharks in fine momentum as they continued their recent upsurge that has seen them collect maximum points from their last four outings.

At the Thika sub-county Stadium, Timothy Otieno struck twice as Tusker FC defeated Thika United 2-0 while Sofapaka FC thumped Kakamega Homeboyz 4-1 in Narok.
