Muhiddin vows to restore Bandaris sinking glory

Bandari caretaker boss Twahir Muhiddin has vowed to bring back the lost glory to the Coast based outfit after enduring a tough season which saw Bernard Mwalala sacked from his position a fortnight ago.

The Mombasa based side sit in the lower half of the 17-team table at position 11 with 18 points from 16 matches, and face high-riding Kakamega Hombeoyz in their next league assignment.

But despite the poor run, Muhiddin insists his players are desperate to instigate an upturn in form adding that the club collectively share the vision.

“We have to restore the energy and belief in our players. We want to get back to where we belong (climbing top half of the table). We have to win our matches and this is not even debatable. If we win against Homeboyz and KCB, which are our next matches, I believe the confidence will be restored,” said Muhiddin.

At the same time, the tactician has issued a rallying call to their supporters as they look to steady the ship.

“Our fans should not give up. I urge them to come and support the team. It’s normal( to experience a rough patch), that’s football cycle but if they can give us the support we need, things might change,” he added.

Bandari will be looking to dent Homeboyz title dream when the two sides face off each other in what could be a mouth-watering clash and Muhiddin is keen to get the Dockers roaring again.
