A section of football team managers in Muhuru ward, Nyatike Sub-county want Football Kenya Federation to allow them to elect their own representatives to FKF at the ward level, opposing hand picking which has been the case before.

The group led by Kassam United team manager George Saitot said they have been represented at FKF for a long time by people they never chose.

Kasam claimed the same people who have represented them for years are being recycled even after they raised concerns over their dismal performance.

His sentiments were echoed by Migingo FC team manager George Otieno and Café Bay FC counterpart Rasto Ouru who said that they have suffered in the hands of some of the FKF officials whom they never elected.

Rasto said they want the FKF to allow team managers to elect their own representatives rather than having FKF officials do the selection, adding that this has not served their purpose.

However, in a separate interview, Migori county FKF chairman Paul Migwambo said the issue raised by the team managers will be addressed amicably.
