Mulumba leaves Bandari, signs for FC Platinum

Bandari FC captain Felly Mulumba has on Thursday officially joined Zimbabwe top league side FC Platinum, ending his four-year tenure with the Dockers.

The Congolese centre-back has joined the club on a two-year deal, Citizen Digital can report.

Mulumba, who joined Bandari from Sofapaka, has acknowledged his experience in the Kenyan league is invaluable, adding he is ready for the new challenge.

Bandari have meanwhile accepted his move, graciously wishing him well in his new challenge.

“Our captain Felly Mulumba will join Zimbabwean club Platinum FC. Having faithfully served the club for five years, he has won three trophies; the GoTV Shield, the KPL Super Cup and the Sportpesa Shield.

“As a club we appreciate his efforts, sacrifice and leadership throughout his time with us, we wish him all the best in his new journey,” read club’s statement.

“We’ll miss his leadership at the club but I believe we have players to come into his place,” said Bandari caretaker coach Twahir Muhiddin.
