Musa Mohamed set for Sofapaka move

Sofapaka FC have approached Musa Mohammed over a move to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) club, the Nkana FC defender has said.

The former Harambee Stars captain has revealed a deal is imminent after talks with the Sofapaka president Elly Kalekwa, adding “only a few things” have yet to be worked on.

Musa has been linked with a move to AFC Leopards but insisted there has been no contact with the 12-time champions.

Despite the Sofapaka development, Musa whose contract with the Zambian giants Nkana FC has already run out is however open to listen to good offers from any club even if it is returning to K’Ogalo.

“For me as long as we agree with any team regarding terms I am ready and open to anyone even if it means joining AFC Leopards,” Musa told Citizen Digital.

Musa joined the Zambian giants Nkana in July 2018 after a short stint at Albanian club KF Tirana.
