Mwmba thumped Menengai Cream Homeboyz 46-19 as KCB hit Nondies 20-05.

Elsewhere, Top Fry Nakuru RFC rose to sixth position in the Kenya Cup after defeating Impala Saracens 20-15 in a match played at the RFUEA ground on Saturday.

Nakuru’s Mitch Ocholla charges scored three tries converting one plus a drop goal against Frank Ndong’s charges three unconverted tries.

Nakuru’s scrum half Geoffrey Ominde scored a drop goal to give his team a 3-0 lead.

Saracen’s winger Bradley Ochieng collected the ball from the scrummage to score a unconverted try  to give Frank Ndong charges a 5-3 lead at half time.

The Nakuru based side got their first try through prop Chrispin Onyango who went over the whitewash with Ominde converting to restore Nakuru’s lead.

Nakuru tried a box kick but was charged down allowing Impala’s lock Erick Kerre to score a try with Ochieng missing the conversion for a 10-all-draw.

Nakuru’s winger Bramwel Bunyasi came back after he was sin binned to score his team’s second try with Ominde missing the conversion to lead 15-10.

Ocholla’s charges got their third try through centre Brian Maina with Ominde’s conversion going short for a 20-10 lead.

Winger Quinto Ongo pulled another unconverted try but it wasn’t enough as his team lost 20-15 to Nakuru at full time.

Nakuru will face off with Kabras Sugar at the Nakuru Athletic club in their next assignment while Saracens will be away against Strathmore Leos.
