Nairobi City Stars shopping for fine striker says coach Alagic

FKF Premier League side Nairobi City Stars have their lenses across the league in search for a ‘proven striker’ to solve their goalscoring woes, head coach Sanjin Alagic has said.

City Stars have already dipped into the market to capture the services of Timothy Bolton Omwenga from Tanzania Premiership side Biashara United.

The former Nzoia Sugar FC, Kariobangi Sharks and KCB left-back signed a one-and-a-half-year deal and Alagic says the priority now is to find a hitman.

“We want to sharpen our attacking department and ensure that we get more goals and just win matches. We need a proven goal-scorer to help us in attack,” the Bosnian said.

City Stars, who are placed 13th on the FKF-PL standings, host basement side Zoo Kericho FC in their weekend fixture on Saturday.
