Nakumatt, Ushuru promotion playoff rescheduled

The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) promotion playoff first leg match pitting Nakumatt FC and Ushuru FC has been rescheduled to Friday October 19, at Camp Toyoyo grounds.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced the development on Wednesday, changing the initial date from October 20.

However, the second leg will be held on October 28 as earlier planned, at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Both matches will kick-off at 3:00pm EAT time (+3 GMT), with the aggregate winner joining National Super League (NSL) champions Western Stima  and KCB in the 2019 KPL.

Nakumatt finished 16th in the KPL league to book a date with Ushuru in the playoff, after the latter finished 3rd in the NSL.

In the meantime, the transfer window is slated to swing open on October 29, with the deadline set on January 4, 2019. The mid-season window will open on March 11, and close on April 8, 2019.
