Namasakha late winner lifts Zoo past Homeboyz

Danson Namasakha scored a last-minute winner as Zoo Kericho FC stunned Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1 at the Bukhungu Stadium on Monday.

The visitors had began the match in dream fashion when reigning Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Player of the Year Mike Madoya netted the opener inside three minutes but were pegged back by Estone Esiye’s 25th minute equalizer.

Just when the encounter seemed headed for a stalemate, Namasakha popped up to score the decider at the death to condemn Homeboyz to their sixth defeat of the season.

The result lifted Zoo to 14th on the KPL standings following a good run of form that includes three wins from a five-match unbeaten streak.
