Makueni soccer queens St.Mary’s Ndovea Girls are southern branch new Chapa Dimba champions as Super Solico of Mwingi took the crown in boys’ category.

St. Mary’s Ndovea Girls of Matiliku Division, Makueni County went against all odds to clinch their maiden title in the history of their soccer investment as they blanked Kitui Girls 2-0 in their final debut.

Enroute to final, the Nzaui sub-county soccer powerhouse saw off Mwingi Girls by the same margin as they outclassed their opponents with master class passes in an entertaining semifinal duel.

Super Solico of Mwingi edged out Tumaini boys of Makueni in post match penalties after both sides battled to 1-1 during regular time

Both champions are to set to represent the southern branch in the regional finals slated for next month in Kitui.
