Ndungu docks at Mathare as transfer activity intensifies

Mathare United have captured forward Samuel Ndung’u from AFC Leopards on a two-year deal as it continues with efforts to sharpen its attack force ahead of the 2018 season.

Ndung’u served Leopards in the 2017 season but has seemingly been lured to the 2008 league champions where he will be aiming to improve his football prospects in the new campaign.

A happy Mathare took to Twitter to break the news of the capture of the versatile winger on Saturday.

The ‘Slum Boys’ ended the 2017 campaign at position 13 after accumulating  39 points, in what was arguably one of their most sloppy runs in the recent times.

Ndung’u was part of the All-Stars squad that travelled to the United Kingdom in February 2017 to face Hull City FC in a friendly match.
