New home of football? Viusasa set to make KPL debut

Kenya’s leading Video On Demand platform Viusasa will make its Kenyan Premier (KPL) broadcast debut over the weekend, granting fans a first ever opportunity for app-based viewing of the top flight matches.

The KPL double-header at the Ruaraka Grounds will be available for viewing by mobile phone users with Nakumatt FC versus Sony Sugar set to become the first match to be live streamed at 2:00pm on Saturday.

The subsequent clash between Tusker FC and Nzoia Sugar FC will be aired beginning 4:15pm with users required to pay KSh50 for both matches. Mathare United versus Sofapaka FC and Kariobangi Sharks versus Gor Mahia which will be played on Sunday will also be available on the app.

To gain access, simply click ‘pay’ on your app and it will take you to the specific match that you would like to watch. Those with Smart TVs can watch the matches on TV by casting images from the VIUSASA app to their screens.
