Njogu replaces Muyoti at Thika United

Former Kiambu All Stars John Njogu has been appointed the new Thika United coach, replacing Nicholas Muyoti who resigned a week ago.

Muyoti, took over from James Nandwa who held fort for the better part of 2016 before he was axed, paving the way for Muyoti to take over the hot seat.

While resigning he cited lack of goodwill from the club management as well as financial troubles bedeviling the club.

Njogu comes to the team at a time the team is languishing in the relegation zone in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) log, at 16th with 12 points, jut two above the bottom placed Nakumatt FC.

Njogu’s first assignment will be against SoNy Sugar over the weekend.
