No doubt we deserved to win – Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp doesn’t have any doubts that Liverpool deserved their 1-0 Premier League victory over Swansea at Anfield on Sunday.

James Milner’s second-half penalty settled the game after Neil Taylor was adjudged to have block Jordan Ibe’s cross with his arm.

Klopp admitted conditions made it difficult for both teams with the German labelling the strong winds as ‘the enemy of football’.

He was also happy to see the returns of both Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson, and gave credit to Swansea manager Gary Monk who is under severe pressure to keep his job.

Liverpool lie in sixth place and are six points behind leaders Manchester City.
