NOCK leaving nothing to chance as kits arrive early for Team Kenya

National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) is stepping up preparations for Commonwealth Games slated for April 4-15 in Gold Coast, Australia as the first consignment of the team’s kit arrived in the country.

Speaking upon receiving the kits,  NOCK president Paul Tergat has revealed that the first batch of the consignment is already in the country with the other consignments expected early next month.

” I am happy that the first consignment of the kits for Team Kenya for Commonwealth Games have arrived and we hope that by the first week of February we should have received all the other consignments,” said Tergat.

The NOCK boss also insisted that they are keen to ensure that all the sportsmen have the kits before making the trip to Australia.

“We are indebted to ensuring that all the kits are available before the team travels so that we can make our sportsmen happy and motivate them to compete for our country,” added the former world marathon record holder.

With less than three months remaining to the start competitions, many activities are expected to unfold in the coming days.
