The crowning the National Super League(NSL) champions will be officially decided on Sunday. This comes after the three clubs that top the table won all their mid-week matches.

Wazito F.C(78), Kisumu All-Stars(77) and Nairobi Stima(77), who are the top three leading clubs respectively, are showing interest of clinching the title.

The league status has been maintained and nobody wants to be seen on the losing end and according to the top leaders Wazito FC, as leaders they still want a win to be able to finish the business iin their final match.

“We must win to be on the safer side. We must train hard as a club because we need all the three points so we can’t even afford a draw it will cost us,” said Fred Ambani after his match against Talanta Fc.

Wazito FC play their final match against St. Joseph youth at Camp Toyoyo in Nairobi at 2pm.

Ushuru Fc are fourth position with 73 points having won 1-0 against Kangemi All-Stars at the Ruaraka grounds on Wednesday. This means only the top three clubs now stand a chance to get promoted to the KPL next season.

George Owoko, Nairobi Stima head-coach, however believes that he still stands a chance to top the league.

“We are preparing with a lot of effort as we focus on our last game. The team we will be playing with is a must win for us, so that we get a chance” said Owoko

Nairobi stima will be playing against Eldoret youth at the Eldoret show ground a game that will see Owoko’s side get direct promotion or play the play-off to climb the ladder to the KPL.

Kisumu All Stars, who are also in the race, won their last match against the Green Commandos at the Moi Stadium Kisumu in a six-goal thrill that has now given head coach Francis Oduor confidence in surpassing the leaders Wazito two days from now.

Kisumu will be playing Thika United who are on a relegation battle with Kangemi All-Stars, Green Commandos and Migori Youth.

The relegation battle will be decided after the finale this weekend, the clubs have their standings tied with a difference of one point each and both of them need a win to escape the relegation battle.

The NSL will be wrapped up on Sunday with all the 10 games being played at 2PM. Promotion and relegation will be decided then.
