Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Ibrahim Shikanda has told his charges to use their disappointment from Tuesday’s defeat at Tusker FC as fuel for their next FKF Premier League assignment against champions Gor Mahia FC on Saturday.

Nzoia put up a brave fight against the league leaders Tusker during their midweek fixture but were undone late in the second half when they conceded twice in quick succession to lose 2-1.

“We are going for the three points and nothing less. We have to keep fighting. Gor is fighting to close the gap with league leaders Tusker, we are aware their morale is high, my boys are in good form and you could see it during the Tusker match,” he said.

Nzoia are yet to lose at their Sudi backyard, managing three wins and three draws so far in its last six home matches.

Nzoia Sugar FC sit 13th on the FKF PL log with 14 points from 13 matches. Gor are ninth on the standings with four games in hand.
