Nzoia rue missed chances after losing to Vihiga
Nzoia Sugar FC tactician Sylvester Murukurwa says his side paid the ultimate price of failing to take their chances as they fell 2-1 to Vihiga United in an FKF Premier League match at the weekend.
Murukurwa attributed the defeat to ”hard luck” maintaining that his charges gave a good account of themselves.
“My boys played well, created chances but only failed to convert the opportunities into goals.
The team has really improved and I am hoping to get the three points against Posta Rangers in our next assignment,” said Murukurwa.
Nzoia Sugar have now failed to record a win in the last 20 of its top flight assignments.
Their last win dates back to October 2019 when they beat Sofapaka 2-1 at Sudi Stadium.
Nzoia host Posta Rangers on Sunday aiming for maximum points after the latter were held to a barren draw by Wazito.
