Nzoia Sugar FC handed Gor Mahia FC only their fourth Kenyan Premier League loss of the season in a 1-0 success at the Mumias Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Hansel Ochieng struck in the 33rd minute to guide Nzoia to victory while AFC Leopards were also 1-0 losers to KCB FC in Machakos thanks to Kennedy Owino’s winner.

In Kericho, Zoo FC boosted their KPL survival chances with a 2-1 victory against Western Stima FC after an impressive second half fight-back.

Stima took the lead at the stroke of half time but Derrick Anami struck immediately after the restart to level matters before Danson Chetambe sealed the comeback with a 64th minute penalty.

Elsewhere in Awendo, goals from Salmon Omollo and Enock Agwanda handed Sony Sugar a 2-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks.
