Ochomo hunts for new club after Bandari exit

After being released by Bandari FC, striker Wycliff Ochomo is in search of a new club with two offers reportedly on the table.
According to the burly striker, he is negotiating for a new deal with one club in Kenya and the other in Tanzania and is optimistic of completing the move soon.
Ochomo was among six players released by the club upon the expiry of their contracts.
Ochomo however attributed his exit to his stance on unpaid bonuses owed to the playing unit.
‘After finishing in second place the other season we were given a token by our sponsors and we have not received anything and that is why I was chased when I questioned the official,” he lamented.
Moses Mudavadi, Patrick Mugendi, Mustapha Oduor, Cliff Kasuti and Alex Dunga are some of the players who’ve been released.
Journeyman Ochomo has turned out for several clubs in the Kenyan Premier League including Gor Mahia, Muhoroni Youth and Ulinzi Stars.

They are yet to sign anyone with their new coach Ken Odhiambo insisting that he needs to have his squad back in training before making any signing.

“I need to watch and monitor my squad when they come back in training before I know where to strengthen.”
