Ochomo to the rescue as Bandaris jigsaw continue

Bandari FC rallied from behind to snatch all the three points in an explosive Kenyan Premier League match staged at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, humbling home side Sofapaka 2-1.

The Batoto Ba Mungu came off the blocks fastest to claim the opener through Kepha Aswani who smashed home after being put through by utility man Dennis Odhiambo.

Odhiambo took advantage of the break-down in communication amongst the dockers rearguard to pin-point Aswani who made the most of the chance.

The dockers however drew level 10 minutes after the interval through Yema Mwana after being teed up  by William Wadri, before super-sub Wycliffe Ochomo secured all the three points for Bernard Mwalala’s side .

Ochomo beat his marker and charged forward easily beating opposing goalie Richard Aimo in the 70th min for the winner.

At the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, Western Stima dispatched Tusker 1-0 with Henry Onyango scoring the all-important goal  in the 80th minute.

Meanwhile, Posta Rangers hit Mount Kenya United 2-1 at the Afraha Stadium.

The Sammy Omollo coached Posta went up  in the 22nd minute through Ken Mutembei and held onto the lead against a hard-pressing Mount Kenya until  former Kakamega Homeboyz striker Francis Nambute doubled the lead nine minutes into the second half.

Former Muhoroni Youth forward Samuel Ndung’u pulled a consolation  but it could not stop the mailmen from claiming the win.
