Harambee Stars lead striker Michael Olunga has joined Qatari side Al- Duhail SC from Japanese J1 League side in a deal believed to be Ksh 800million.
Olunga had a stormy two-season spell in Japan helping Reysol gain promoting to J1 from J2.
In both terms he was the standout player in the respective leagues but his star shone brightest this season when he was crowned as J1 Most Valuable Player while also winning the Golden Boot award.
And early Tuesday, the Qatari club confirmed the deal on Twitter by sharing a picture of smiling Olunga posing for the cameras while donned in their famous red colours.
