Olympic dream up in smoke as Starlets fall to Zambia

Harambee Starlets dream of gracing the 2020 Olympics set for Japan went up in smoke Monday evening after falling 0-1 to Zambia in Lusaka to bow out 3-2 on aggregate.

Lushomo Mweemba scored the all -important goal in the 58th minute at the Nkouma Stadium in Lusaka to for the Shepolopolo to guide them to the fifth and final stage of the qualifiers where they’ll lock horns with the winner between Ivory Coast and Cameroon

The first leg played in Nairobi last Friday ended in a two-all draw and the Kenyan girls, coached by David Ouma, needed to record a win of any kind to progress.
