Samuel Onyango netted a brace as Gor Mahia FC cruised to a 4-0 victory over Kenyan Premier League (KPL) strugglers Chemelil Sugar at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Boniface Omondi and Nicholas Kipkirui were also on target as Gor moved third on the KPL standings on 35 points, two adrift leaders Tusker FC and just one behind Kakamega Homeboyz.

Gor lost 2-1 to Homeboyz on Sunday, suffering only their second loss of the season and made light work of basement side Chemelil on Wednesday to bounce back to winning ways.

Gor will next face Bandari FC on January 25 before clashing with the 2009 champions Sofapaka four days later .
