Paralympics boss Oluoch charged after Nock brawl

The Kenya National Paralympic Committee (KNPC) President Agnes Oluoch was on Friday arraigned before a Makadara  Law Courts and charged with creating disturbance by abusing President of the Africa Table Tennis Federation Andrew Mudibo that he was stupid, a thief and useless.

Oluoch, 45,allegedly created disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by insulting Andrew Mudibo that he was a thief, stupid and useless on March 7 at a Nairobi hotel located along Mombasa Road.

According to the prosecution reports, the suspect and the complainant had both attended a National Olympic committee of Kenya (Nock) Special meeting.

After the meeting, Police said that while they were outside the room, Oluoch started creating disturbance alleging that Mudibo had denied her a chance to vote during the meeting.

Oluoch denied the charges before senior principal magistrate Angelo Kithinji and asked the court for lenient bond terms. She was released on a cash bail of 10,000 shillings .

The case will be heard on July 17.
