Perfect Equity face Western Delight in KBF test

Equity Bank have made a bright start to their Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Premier League and will have their perfect winning streak put to test against Western Delight on Saturday.

The champions have won all six of their opening matches and will look to end KBF women’s Premier League first leg on a high with victories in the remaining four, according to coach David Maina.

“We expect to play a good game and come back with a win. We are taking all our games with a lot of seriousness as we are preparing for zone five,” Maina added.

Equity will be approaching Western Delight’s match with great momentum on their side after crashing Storms 63-13 in their previous league encounter.

Meanwhile Storms head coach Abel Nson said his team is in high spirit as they plan to face Dynamites and Eagle Wings on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

“We are getting better each day and the synergy is adding, though some players have been flaky so we need to figure out what direction to take,” Nson said.
