AFC Leopards may have lost Sunday’s Mashemeji derby, falling 0-1 to eternal rivals Gor Mahia, but they had a colourful weekend after all.

A day before the match, on Saturday, the entire squad led by Club chairman Dan Shikanda were at State House Nairobi where President Uhuru Kenyatta unveiled the team’s state-of-the-art bus.

A smiling Kenyatta later tried his hand on the 51-seater beast as the glowing playing unit watched on.

The bus was bought through a multi-prong approach including fundarisers with  Dr Nelson Sechere, an international fundraising expert, playing a key role.

Dr Sechere is a consultant at African Capacity Building Foundation.
