Police won't underestimate Sofapaka, warns Babu
FKF-Premier League side Police FC head coach Salim Babu
says they will not underestimate Sofapaka when the two teams clash tomorrow in
the quarterfinals of the FKF Cup at the Police Sacco Stadium.
Despite him being wary of the threat posed by their opponents,
Babu says they are well prepared for the match, having done their homework
well, a feat that will put them in good stead.
“We have prepared
for this match very well because this is a title we are aiming to win but we
won’t underrate our opponents at all they are a good side that can cause an
upset of not well prepared that means we have to be perfect in all the
department on the match day,” said Babu
At the same time, Sofapaka midfielder Humphrey Mieno has
revealed his team’s dream of clinching the tournament and representing the
country in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
“Every players
dream is to play continental football and that is our aim as a team we will
give our best and try get the best result possible which is a win and sure we
are well prepared for that, “stated the midfielder
Other matches will see KCB host Kakamega Homeboyz tomorrow, while AFC
Leopards will be up against minnows Compel FC on Sunday as Kariobangi Sharks
face SS Assad on the same day.
