Prisons, GSU among African Club Championship participants

Kenya Prisons and General Service Unit (GSU) are among the 24 teams from across the continent that will participate in the 2018 Men’s African Club Championship due to start at Ahly Club Hall on Tuesday, March 27 in Cairo, Egypt.

This is after the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) published the final list on Wednesday evening.

According to CAVB regulations, only teams that fulfill its obligations participate in the tourney.A record 32 teams had shown interest in this year’s edition.

The Kenyan duo will be aiming to impress after years of misses and under-performance in the competition

Giants Al-Ahly and Smouha Sport, both of Egypt, are viewed as the firm favourites
