Rangers shoot down wobbly Gor Mahia
Ten man Posta Rangers handed defending champions Gor Mahia their sixth defeat of the season after winning 1-0 at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani on Wednesday afternoon.
Francis Nambute scored the solitary goal for ten-man Rangers who had Michael Aposo sent off in the fourth minute of the game.
This was Posta’s second win of the season and the first one under their new coach Stanley Okumbi .
Having lost to KCB on Sunday Gor are now eighth on the log with 19 points from 13 games played so far this season while Rangers are 14th with 14 points from 15 games .
In the other match this afternoon, Zoo Kericho were held to a barren draw by visitors Western Stima at the Kericho Green Stadium.
The draw saw Zoo remain rooted at the bottom of the league table while their opponents are 15th on the log with 12 points from 16 games played so far.
The league continues Thursday with the slum derby in hand when Mathare United host Kariobangi sharks at the Moi international sports centre Kasarani.
