The Kenya U20 national team, Rising Stars, has been pooled in Group C of the upcoming CECAFA U20 Championships to be played between November 22 and December 6 in Tanzania.
The U20 team is set to face stiff competition from Ethiopia and Sudan.
Group A comprises of hosts Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia, and Djibouti, while Group B will have Burundi, Eritrea, South Sudan, and Uganda.
The top two teams in each group will proceed to the tournament’s quarterfinal.
The Rising Stars came out runners-up in last years’ edition in Uganda and will be looking to better that performance.
Group A: Tanzania (Host), Rwanda, Somalia
