Saleh joins Nakumatt FC, Sserenkuma settles in Morocco

Nakumatt FC have bolstered their squad by signing former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards defender Jackson Saleh, and Talanta FC midfielder Victor Okul.

According to the head coach Antony Mwangi, the duo have been training with them for some time and are fast settling in the team.

“It’s true we have signed Saleh and Okul. We are optimistic they will boost our team because we really needed additions in their departments.

“They have been training with us and I know they will do a good job, even as we seek to add more before the transfer window is closes” he charged.

Nakumatt are 10th on the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) log after 13 outings with 19 points, their aim remaining finishing at least among the top 10 teams.

Elsewhere, former Gor Mahia and Bandari FC striker Dan Sserunkuma has landed a new job with Moroccan top tier side Ittihad Riadi Tanger.

The development comes few days after the Dockers released him, after a season-long stint at the KPL side.

“It’s official that I’m now an Ittihad Riadi Tanger player. I’m very happy for this new challenge.

“I look forward to doing my thing for my new club, scoring and scoring,” Sserenkuma posted on his official twitter handle.

Still in the local transfers, Chemilil Sugar FC may recall their ex-player Peter Amani, currently featuring for National Super League (NSL) side Nakuru All Stars.

Reports indicate his impressive run at the Nakuru based side has triggered his parent club to launch the recall bid, before the end of the season.

If the deal goes through, the Tanzanian will be the second player to be recalled by his team after Austine Ochieng
